Onjisaponin B, derived from Radix Polygalae, can enhances autophagy and accelerates the degradation of mutant α-synuclein and huntingtin in PC-12 cells.[1]
Onjisaponin B can reduce β-amyloid production and improve cognitive impairments, indicates that Onjisaponin B is effective against Alzheimer’s disease , providing a new therapeutic agent for further drug discovery.[2]
